EasyVisaFile is designed so that your sensitive personal information never leaves your device. This is not just a policy promise — it is how the software is built.

When you use our guided questionnaire to fill out a USCIS form, all of your answers (including your name, date of birth, Social Security Number, Alien Registration Number, passport information, address, and all other form data) are processed entirely within your web browser. Your personal information is never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers.

We want to be explicit about what we do not do:

• We do NOT collect your form answers. Your name, SSN, date of birth, A-number, address, passport details, immigration history, and all other information you enter into the questionnaire never reach our servers.
• We do NOT store your generated PDF. The completed PDF is created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. We never see or store a copy.
• We do NOT use cookies. We do not set any first-party or third-party cookies.
• We do NOT sell, share, or trade any personal data.

We collect a very limited amount of information, as described below:

3.1 Notify-Me Email Signups

When you voluntarily sign up to be notified when a new form becomes available (e.g., I-130 or I-485), we collect and store:

• Your email address
• The form type you are interested in
• A timestamp of when you signed up

This is the only personal data we store on our servers. We use this data solely to send you a notification when the requested form becomes available. We do not use this email for marketing, newsletters, or any other purpose.

3.2 Payment Information

When you purchase a completed form, your payment is processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stripe collects your payment information (credit card number, billing address, email) directly. We never see, access, or store your full credit card number or payment details. Through Stripe, we may receive: a confirmation that payment was successful, your email address (as provided to Stripe), and the transaction amount. This information is used solely to verify your purchase and enable your PDF download.

3.3 Automatic Server Logs

Like virtually all web services, our hosting provider automatically collects standard server log data when you visit our website. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. We do not actively access, analyze, or use this log data.

Our Service may use your browser's localStorage to save your questionnaire progress, so you can return to the website and continue where you left off. This data:

• Is stored entirely on your device
• Is never sent to our servers
• Can be cleared by you at any time through your browser settings or by using the "Clear Data" option in our Service
• Is automatically cleared after you successfully download your completed PDF

We recommend using a private or personal device when filling out immigration forms. If you are using a shared or public computer, please clear your browser data after use.

The limited information we collect is used for the following purposes only:

• Notify-me emails: To send you a one-time notification when a form you requested becomes available.
• Payment verification: To confirm that your payment was successful and enable your PDF download.
• Service operation: Standard server logs are generated automatically by our hosting provider as part of normal website operation.

We do not use any information for profiling, targeted advertising, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than those listed above.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except as follows:

• Service providers: We use a limited number of third-party services to operate EasyVisaFile, including a hosting provider (for serving the website), a database provider (for storing notify-me emails), and a payment processor (for handling payments). These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

• Form data: Not applicable — we do not store your form data. Data in your browser's localStorage persists until you clear it or until it is automatically cleared after PDF download.
• Notify-me emails: Retained until you request deletion or until the email is no longer needed for its stated purpose.
• Payment records: Stripe retains payment records in accordance with its own data retention policies and legal obligations. Any payment confirmation data we receive is retained as needed for accounting and legal compliance.

• Right to deletion: You may request deletion of your notify-me email at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your email from our database promptly.
• Right to access: You may contact us to ask what data, if any, we hold about you.
• Right to clear local data: You can clear your localStorage data at any time through your browser settings or through the "Clear Data" option in the Service.

Since we do not collect or store your form data on our servers, there is no server-side form data for us to delete, access, or export.

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we do collect:

• Our website is served over HTTPS, encrypting data in transit between your browser and our servers.
• Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest level of payment security certification.
• Because your form data never leaves your browser, it is not exposed to server-side security risks such as database breaches.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. Given our minimal data collection practices:

• Right to know: The only personal information we may hold about you is your email address if you signed up for notifications. We do not collect or store form data.
• Right to delete: You may request deletion of your notify-me email by contacting us.
• Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell personal information to anyone.
• Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
